Ricky Rubio Finally Makes it to Minnesota

Finally! The Spanish blur has made his way to the NBA.  Ricky Rubio, after being drafted by the Minnesota Timberwolves in 2009, missed the past 2 NBA seasons deciding instead to continue playing professionally in Spain.  But now, with labor talks looming in the future, Rubio has decided to sign with the Timberwolves and enter the NBA.  All I've heard on Rubio thus far has been bust, bust and more bust.  I have a different theory, however:  Rubio will take some time to get used to the NBA.  He may even look like a bust for a while, but after he figures out the speed of the league, he will flourish.  With the game getting faster more and more teams seem to lack a true point guard.  Ricky Rubio will be a true floor general and help the league's shift into up tempo and high octane entertainment.  I'm not saying that he will be a perennial all star, but Ricky Rubio will prove himself to be worthy of the being the 5th pick in the 2009 NBA draft.
